Exploring the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice was far from an ordinary museum experience; it was a fleeting, personal glimpse into Peggy’s universe. Nestled along the Grand Canal, Guggenheim turned an incomplete little palace into the vibrant core of modern art in Venice. A daring collector with a love for the avant-garde, she adorned her residence with masterpieces by Picasso, Pollock, Dalí, and many more. The visit added a lovely touch to our time in the city. My friend, feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the art we had seen in just a few days, took a moment to enjoy the calm of the sculpture garden, while I wandered through Peggy’s former home. It felt like stepping back in time, with soft light falling across the walls, reflections of water coming through the windows. Seeing these masterpieces up close was an amazing experience
